I'm doing a paper on the Otaku identity (in general terms, not just cosplay) but I specifically need to find articles written by anthropologists. Do you know of any such articles/books? So far, I've found two:
- “Fandom Unbound: Otaku Culture in a Connected Age” by Mizuko Ito
- “The Cuteness of the Avant‐Garde” by Sianne Ngai

But I need 6! Any help would be great!

I was trying to find out if Patrick R. Benesh-Liu, is actually an anthropologist, that's how I came across this journal entry. Do you know anything about him?
